Haji Mohammad Ifwat, a graduate of Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, earned Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Shariah Laws in August 2023. His academic journey was marked by numerous accolades, including the Dean's List and recognition as Best Mooter at the ALSA Brunei Mini Moot Competition in 2020. Prior to his tenure at LZ Hussain & Co, Haji Mohammad Ifwat undertook his pupillage with Messrs. V.K. Rajakanu & Associates, where he developed key legal competencies in general civil litigation, personal injury, and related fields. He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Brunei Darussalam in September 2024 and now focuses his practice primarily on litigation, emphasizing on debt recovery and personal injury. In the long run, he aims to spread his expertise in different areas of law with a goal to be a competent lawyer.

To further his professional development, Haji Mohammad Ifwat completed the "Effective Mediation Advocacy" course in June 2023, which enhanced his skills in client counseling within mediation settings and strengthened his advocacy in mediation. Additionally, in July 2023, he participated in the “Kursus Asas Advokasi Syariah, ” hosted by the Prime Minister’s Office, to acquire essential advocacy skills pertinent to Syariah Courts.
